Huw Bussell, consultant
I've always had a keen interest in the media and love getting to the bottom of a good story, so it is little wonder I now work in PR! At Thinc PR I work across the whole gamut of our built environment offering; both with building services clients such as EAL and ECA, and homes & interiors clients including Gingerlily, Hart & Johanson and Vi-Spring. I love the diversity of working with the different media outlets and building a wealth of client knowledge, from how to achieve a good night's sleep on a bed made from natural, organic and sustainable materials, to understanding the latest change to the Government's sustainability agenda. The cross over is fascinating.
Prior to joining the team at Thinc PR, I was at the national children's charity Jeans for Genes, where I built a solid background in communications. I enjoy building relationships, whether they're with the media, key stakeholders and influencers, or celebrities. What I find most fascinating about PR is the speed at which the media landscape changes. I get a real thrill from identifying the issues that matter to clients and their customers, and then generating standout coverage on the back of them.
To Thinc about: I have an almost, encyclopaedic knowledge of the London Underground network. I realise this is of little real benefit, except there are no excuses for me getting lost (or being late!).
